The Pink Poodle

This cute hideaway, Pink Poodle is a sweet spot. I placed a call and was there in 10 minutes this morning. What stands out for me is the price of service. For me it was a long overdue nail trim on my little longhair chihuahua. I use to take her to the veterinary clinics and accepted the outlandish price just to trim the nails $43.00. Really? I would ask my self. For what? So I would attempt to trim my girls nails whenever. I mentioned it to a friend cost, and my unsuccessful event when my friend mentioned “Pink Poodle Groomers”. So today I met the small FRIENDLY staff. The price was fair (much, much, cheaper than the others mentioned) the service FANTASTIC.

Alright. I recently rescued a Rottweiler. Young and easily frightened, reactive when his feet are touched. I called last week to get an appointment and asked “just to be clear, I’ve heard y’all are good with large aggressive dogs, correct?” Which was responded with “yes, we say if we can’t do it, no one can”. I brought him in today and told them, “he’ll love his bath, but you should muzzle him when you trim his nails, he DOES NOT like his feet touched” to which I was told “we got it”. Called back 4 hours later to them telling me 1) since it’s my first visit, it’s cash only (thanks so much, wasn't told that until this point in the process, now I have to hit an ATM) and 2) he bit one of their techs trying to clip his nails (hmmm… how could he have done that if they muzzled him like I suggested?). Pay $54 and change for the bath and tried to apologize, but reminded that I did say he needed to be muzzled for his nail trim to which I was told THEY DONT HAVE MUZZLES! They apparently “just normally make it work” and don’t muzzle, much less have muzzles on hand, even when told by the owner they should. I don’t know if this is stupidity, ignorance, or just lack of consideration for anyone involved, but I’m not coming back to the place where “if they can’t do it, no one can”.

So today I took my girl Darcy to a groomer at 8:30am paid 50.00 dollars for them to do NOTHING not even bathe my babygirl Darcy…. Well I googled Poodle Groomers and found The Pink Poodle…. I told them what happened and what they said about my baby Darcy, they IMMEDIATELY made room for my girl on their schedule within the same hour… I’m so grateful for you all that had part in making Darcy and my family happy today🥰🥰🥰 we absolutely love her new haircut, which the previous groomer said they couldn’t on her smh…. My fur babies are a motley crew. One is adorable and easy to groom we call her “loco” but her names is Coco. Next one is Peekaboo a “rescue” dog which takes time a whole lot of time for the groomer to be accepted before she allows them to groom her. Lastly, KYZER a St. Barnard who demands to be bathed along with the groomer. Lol Fact. This has been my personal experience for years with Pink Poodle Pet Grooming and would like to assure anyone who brings their pets to Pink Poodle will receive a PROFESSIONALLY and SAFE grooming for their precious fur babies.
